Industrial lamp holders - These modern black plastic lamp holders pay homage to the traditional black Bakelite lamp holders from Coolicon’s industrial past.
Porcelain lamp holders - Our white porcelain fittings are modern, clean and simple; produced for the Standard Collection they pair elegantly with all of our shades.
Cable Type: With a natural sheen, our finely overbraided black fabric cable ensures your lampshade hangs with that extra touch of detail and class.

Due to the glasslike Vitreous Enamel finish, the lampshade can easily be cleaned with a soft cloth.
For stubborn marks, a high-quality window/glass cleaner can be applied to the cloth then passed over the lampshade. Care should always be taken to avoid contact with the Coolicon badge.

Reimagining the once exclusively industrial lampshades, the Original 1933™ Design brings Coolicon lampshades into the modern home. The small, rounded form produces a strong task light below and softer ambient lighting overhead as the bulbs are exposed through the gallery vents. As the Classic Cream Vitreous Enamel melts and flows in the furnace it reveals beautiful dark edges that contrast against the light colour of the lampshade. These expressed edges can be found around the rim of the lampshade as well as the gallery and the top joint. On our lighter coloured lampshades, such as Classic Cream, the expressed edges are more prominent and draw attention to the shade’s construction. Expressed edges are a hallmark of Coolicon lampshades and the craft of Vitreous Enamel – true to our production process since 1933.
The seamless finish of a Coolicon lampshade makes for easy dusting –ensuring your nice, clean bedroom stays that way. Coolicon lampshades are also healthy to live with – especially important considering the average person spends one third of their life in the bedroom sleeping.
