Made from the same high-grade steel and finished in matching white enamel, our ceiling cups are durable and electrically insulated. Just like the trusty Coolicon lampshade, our Signature Brass E26 lamp holder is designed to last for decades. Expertly detailed with diamond knurling reminiscent of an industrial past and elegantly imprinted with “Coolicon®” around the top, this lighting set will be admired in any interior.

Our Large 1933™ Design lampshade provides a greater ambient light into the room than the Original 1933 due to the lightbulb sitting slightly higher in the larger gallery opening. This design also allows for a wider and softer cone of light to be emitted below. Sharing the same visual language and proportions as the Original 1933 Design™ shade, this larger design shapes light differently to suit main room or statement lighting.

Due to the glasslike Vitreous Enamel finish, the lampshade can easily be cleaned with a soft cloth.
For stubborn marks, a high-quality window/glass cleaner can be applied to the cloth then passed over the lampshade. Care should always be taken to avoid contact with the Coolicon badge.

Our Large 1933™ Design reinvents the smaller Standard Coolicon lampshade: transitioning our iconic design from industrial settings into the contemporary home.
Designed as a task light, the form of the lampshade focuses light below while projecting gentle ambient light above, ideal for creating an atmospheric dining experience.
Form and function come together to create the perfect dining room companion. We recommend wowing guest with either a single Large 1933™ Design lampshade or a cluster of Original 1933™ Design shades. Hanging a single shade above a square or round table provides the dining room with a warm ambient light whilst the downlight provides a gentle cone of task light to illuminate your table.
For those with a longer table we recommend hanging a lampshade between each place setting. Ambient up lighting gently fills the room whilst the downlight leaves you and your guests firmly focused on the feast; go ahead and enjoy.

Our lampshades are constructed of a high-grade steel to ensure longevity and the finest quality finish.
The main body of our lampshades, the reflector, is spun, pressed, and formed by hand. Once perfectly rounded the reflector is welded to the vented gallery, completing the construction of the 1933™ Design lampshade. More often than not, the craftsperson who spins the reflectors also welds it to the gallery in this two-part process.
When the steel lampshades arrive at the enameller’s, welding and forming marks are carefully cleaned up and removed by hand.
Our 15-step handmade process produces lampshades that look incredible and last a lifetime. The steel body ensures a solid foundation and makes way for the flawless Vitreous Enamel finish. Lustre, practicality and craftsmanship promise a timeless statement piece to stay by your side for generations to come.
