Located in the Heart of Edinburgh, Chorrito Sauce Co. is one of the best taco spots in town. A vibrant take on traditional Recipes - serving the freshest hand-pressed tortillas from a delightful menu that brings all the heat and flavours of Oaxaca to the streets of Leith. A small Mexican-inspired Cantina and production space plating up the hottest dishes influenced by culinary tales, gathered over their many years of travel.

The design of Chorrito Sauce Co. takes cues from traditional Mexican cantinas, using bold and vibrant elements to bring the space to life. Four large 1933™ Deep Yellow Coolicon Pendant Lampshades hang elegantly above the bar, casting a warm and inviting glow over the bustling cantina below. Our iconic Coolicon lights not only brighten the space but also create visually interesting focal points in the room.


Our iconic Coolicon Lights are the best option for lighting Cantina's as they illuminate both the ceiling and bar below thanks to their Bi-Directional Design; Creating a fresh and vibrant atmosphere throughout the space. Complemented by a series of subtle track lights on the wall to brighten the hand-painted mural in the back corner, adding an artistic flair to the ambient interior.

At Chorrito Sauce Co., the Deep Yellow hues of the Coolicon lampshades are threaded throughout the interior to tie the design together. From the bar stools and hand-painted signage to the unmistakable hot sauces adorning the space, Coolicon’s iconic lampshades are great when woven seamlessly into the aesthetic of an interior. Our Lampshades keep the interior looking visually interesting whilst ensuring that the food remains at the heart of the Cantina.


Coolicon lampshades provide more than just light—they help shape the mood of the entire restaurant. The team at Chorrito positioned four Large shades over the bar, to best highlight their award-winning food and drink, and create a perfect visual bridge between kitchen and customer. Our Pendants are best hung in groups of odd numbers to create a playful and balanced feel.


Restaurant Lighting to make a statement

One standout feature of Chorrito Sauce Co. is the Large Coolicon Terracotta Lampshade which hangs at the front of the cantina and is visible from across the streets of Leith Walk. Its rich and earthy Vitreous Enamel original Coolicon colour remains vibrant and un-faded, even in direct sunlight and serves as the bridge between the indoors and out.
